Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide direct patient care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies.
You will quickly access and prioritize incoming patients, perform comprehensive nursing assessments, and stabilize patients as needed. You will also provide direct nursing care, supervise non-licensed nursing staff, and make necessary referrals. In addition, you will provide patient education and follow-up care instructions to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
What You Will Do
- Quickly access and prioritize incoming patients
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and stabilize patients as needed
- Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN's scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
- Make necessary referrals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients
What Qualifications You Will Need
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Missouri
