GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMED
We're seeking a Key Account Manager with a focus on the dairy and animal health industry. This role involves occasional meetings in farm environments, including around dairy cattle. Expect travel to make up 50% or more of your schedule.
In this role there will be a wide variety of duties which are related to managing a current, installed base of customers in a defined market(s), geography, or application(s) and subject to change. As part of the CFS Technologies Team, we take on a “do whatever it takes” mindset to build a sustainable, profitable business. In this position your primary goals will be executing the annual AOP Plan, working within a sales and sales support (service component) strategy to optimize the CFS Technologies Customer Experience, increasing revenues and providing exceptional technical and data analytic services to our customers. In addition, you will be asked to research and identify new industry segments with low barriers to entry, which can provide high growth and positive sales potential for the Company. This Job Description will help outline the role and responsibilities.
KEY REPSONSIBILITIES :
- As a CFS Technologies Key Account Manager you are expected to be results oriented with a positive “can do attitude.”
- Execute monthly & yearly AOP sales strategies and targets by focusing on sales in an assigned region within the framework of organizational policies and directives.
- Plan sales activity based on defined sales process to ensure that region meets or exceeds assigned monthly and / or annual sales goals.
- Create and deliver Quarterly Business Review presentations to top customers.
- Must always have a customer-centric focus, understanding they are why we exist as a company and optimize their experience with CFS Technologies.
- Regularly assess how Sales, Marketing and Service Departments work together to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Gather customer feedback, analyze it, and then design specific practices so that our customers benefit while profits also improve. (Continuous Improvements)
- Work with customers to answer and / or solve their technical service issues and questions via email, phone, or any other means necessary.
- Assist with the creation of market strategies and equipment positioning to maximize sales revenue.
- At various times, assist with product management, sales performance, and customer satisfaction tasks.
- Assist with training & market education at sales meetings, equipment demos, and trials.
- Able to work in an ever-changing environment.
