SUMMARY
This position is responsible for managing and maintaining the shop, Signs-R-Us. Overseeing the general operations of the shop and greet and monitor customers in a professional manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following: Other duties may be assigned or required.
- Greets customers and monitors customers’ needs.
· Oversees the general operations of the shop, making sure it runs smoothly and safely
(may clean breakage and spills).
· Responsible for pricing and selling merchandise.
· Provides customer service to patrons.
· Maintains the look of the shop, rotating and restocking supplies.
· Creates ordered signs.
· Collects revenue by receiving and recording income, sends deposit records to supervisor
and Central Office.
· Updates job knowledge by researching competitors.
· Completes deposits slips and monthly sales report.
· Manages shop volunteers (recruits, selects, directs).
· Answers community questions about mission and purpose of Signs-R-Us.
· May also dust, clean, sweep, and mop floors when needed.
- Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have knowledge and experience in Flexi Production Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, and operating a large format printer.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of consumers or employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to exercise independent judgment.
