Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Overview:

Lag Shot Golf is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This is a critical position that requires punctuality, consistency, and dependability. If you’re someone who takes their job seriously, shows up on time every day, and understands the importance of keeping operations running smoothly, this role is for you.

This position involves managing our shipping and fulfillment operations, handling inventory, and ensuring that orders are processed efficiently. While the work environment is generally laid-back, there are times when high-priority shipments require working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipping & Fulfillment:
• Manage ShipStation as our primary shipping portal.
• Process and ship 25 to 50 orders per day, primarily via UPS.
• Create accurate shipping labels and coordinate outbound shipments.
• Work with Shopify, Amazon, and eBay to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
• Inventory & Receiving:
• Open incoming shipments, verify contents, and update inventory records.
• Organize and store incoming stock efficiently.
• Retrieve and move boxes as needed (lifting up to 50 lbs required).
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with customer support representatives using Skype and WhatsApp.
• Communicate effectively with the team regarding incoming shipments, stock levels, and urgent orders.
• Work Environment & Expectations:
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
• Adhere to shipping deadlines, especially during high-demand periods.
• Understand that while most days are smooth, there will be high-pressure situations where timeliness and efficiency are crucial.

Qualifications:

• Must be punctual and reliable—this is not a job where absences or tardiness are acceptable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.
• Experience with ShipStation, Shopify, Amazon, and eBay (preferred but not required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle physical tasks as needed.
• Comfortable working under pressure and meeting strict deadlines when required.
