Job Description:
The Pool Construction Coordinator will be responsible for managing project timelines, coordinating crews, overseeing logistics, and troubleshooting construction challenges. This individual will work closely with general contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. The ideal candidate has a strong background in construction management, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in project tracking software.
Key Responsibilities:
· Project Coordination & Planning
· Develop and manage pool construction schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
· Oversee logistics, including material deliveries, inspections, and crew scheduling.
· Maintain and update project checklists to track progress.
· Forecast project timelines and upcoming job starts to optimize scheduling.
· Crew & Vendor Management
· Coordinate and assign work to construction crews and subcontractors.
· Ensure crews have the necessary materials, permits, and instructions.
· Address any issues on-site to keep projects on schedule.
· Communication & Updates
· Serve as the primary point of contact for general contractors and project stakeholders.
· Provide regular updates on project status, changes, and potential delays.
· Ensure all documentation is up to date and shared with the relevant teams.
Qualifications:
· Education & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management (preferred) or related field.
· Proven experience in pool construction, general construction, or project coordination.
· Skills & Competencies
· Proficiency in Windows-based systems and Construction Management Software.
· Strong understanding of project scheduling, logistics, and workflow coordination.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Experience working with general contractors and subcontractors.
· Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license is required, with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
