Job Summary
Lagniappe Rehabilitation Services seeks a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy services, including screening, assessment, and treatment
- Supervise and train Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Rehab Aides
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training
Requirements
- Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Valid National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Valid state license (where applicable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
