Job Summary
Lagniappe Rehabilitation Services seeks a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality services for patients, caregivers, and facilities in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy. The ideal candidate will have excellent evaluation and treatment skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' physical abilities and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy services, including screening, assessment, and treatment
- Supervise and train Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Rehab Aides
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and training
Requirements
- Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited school of Occupational Therapy
- Valid National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification
- Valid state license (where applicable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
