Position Summary

As Learning Experience Designer, you are responsible for the creation of digital learning content. This includes the design and development of the content itself and the delivery of that content to learners. This effort includes using a variety of tools and software to create engaging, interactive content that meets the needs of the business and learners.


In addition, you are responsible for the administration and maintenance of the company’s learning system technology. This effort includes assisting with data migrations, working with IT and outside vendors to test and troubleshoot system issues, maintaining training and user profile records, coordinating calendaring and enrolment, tracking, assessments, and reporting.


This is a hybrid role that will report to our Philadelphia office 4 days a week with the option of one remote day.


Essential Functions

  • Design and develop comprehensive curriculums that align with trainer goals and business objectives.
  • Produce high-quality training content, including text, graphics, videos, quizzes, and interactive simulations.
  • Apply principles of instructional design to create materials that facilitate effective learning experiences.
  • Create detailed storyboards that outline the flow and structure of learning modules.
  • Incorporate multimedia elements such as audio, video, animation, and interactive components to enhance learner engagement.
  • Develop and maintain eLearning courses within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Work closely with subject matter experts, graphic designers, and IT professionals to ensure the accuracy and quality of training content.
  • Conduct user testing to gather feedback on eLearning modules and make necessary improvements.
  • Address technical issues related to eLearning platform, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of eLearning materials and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies and continuously improve eLearning strategies.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional design, training, human resources, or a related field, with a Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, education, HR, or a relevant discipline.
  • An understanding of instructional design models and applying pedagogical principles to evaluate learning experiences.
  • Competence in using eLearning development tools and software, such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and Camtasia.
  • Skills in creating and editing multimedia content, including video production, graphic design, and audio editing.
  • Ability to organize and manage content within the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Strong project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and present ideas clearly.
  • Ability to analyze learner data, generate reports, and use insights to improve eLearning materials.
  • Keen attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of training content.
  • Ability to think creatively to design engaging and interactive learning experiences.
