Do you have a passion for accuracy, organization, and helping a high-performing team run smoothly? We're looking for a Dental Documentation Specialist to support our doctor in providing exceptional patient care by ensuring all clinical notes are captured accurately and completed daily.
About the Role:
As a Dental Documentation Specialist, you’ll follow the doctor during patient care, documenting treatment details, procedures, and all clinical notes in real time. Your work allows our doctors to focus fully on patients while ensuring detailed, timely, and compliant documentation.
What You'll Do:
- Accurately document doctor-patient interactions and treatment details in the patient’s chart
- Follow the doctor throughout their schedule and serve as their clinical documentation partner
- Ensure all clinical notes are completed daily and meet compliance standards
- Organize patient records and assist in keeping the schedule flowing smoothly
- Communicate effectively with the dental team regarding documentation needs
Who You Are:
- Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
- A great listener and quick typist with strong written communication skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, clinical environment
- Discreet and professional with patient information (HIPAA-aware)
- Tech-savvy, ideally with experience in dental software (Dentrix Ascend)
- Prior dental or medical experience is highly preferred
