Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental/Oral Surgery Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the Oral Surgeon in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist Doctor/Oral Surgeon during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment before and after use.
- Take radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation for patient records.
- Manage patient appointments and assist with scheduling as needed.
- Educate patients on proper pre and post-treatment care.
- Monitor vital signs of patients when necessary.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental/Medical Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 36 per week
