Mobile/Overhead Crane Technician Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mobile/Overhead Crane Technician Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting our lead technicians in performing inspections, maintenance and repairs on various cranes and heavy equipment at customer locations.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass both drug and background screenings.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Dependable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to read, write and understand information.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.
• Frequently move/lift equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
• Ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet, and climb up and down ladders and/or equipment.
• Be able to maneuver safely and work underneath equipment.
• Routinely react to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work.
• Be able to work on elevated surfaces.

Work Environment

• Regularly work outdoors around moving mechanical parts.
• Will be exposed to weather extremes that include heat, cold and rain.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
