What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Detox Technician position at Laguna Shores Behavioral Health?
Overnight Detox Technicians will include supervision, monitoring and documentation of participants requiring detoxification and residential services. Minimum requirements include, but not limited to, registration with CCAPP, general understanding of recovery concepts, withdrawal symptoms, experience in the field, and/or education in basic medical practices, such as knowledge of medications, side effects, and adverse reactions, measuring vitals, and documenting observation notes. Detox technician includes being a recovery advocate whose primary purpose is to supervise, support, assist with community resources, monitor drug and alcohol testing, and inspire participants participating in the Detoxification and Residential Treatment Program.
Must have updated RADT/RAC certification through CCAPP, valid driver's licernse, CPR/First Aid, T.B. Clearance and Health Screening Clearances.
