Job Description:
Lead Advanced Practice Provider - Neurosurgery
Join our team and lead our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in Neurosurgery!
About the Role:
As the Lead APP, you'll play a vital role in optimizing our APP team's contribution to our Neurosurgery division. You'll focus on strategic planning, personnel management, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Partner with Division Chair & Executive Director on divisional goals.
Oversee APP fellowship, research, and QI projects.
Participate in hospital-wide initiatives.
Personnel Management:
Conduct performance evaluations & provide mentorship.
Manage hiring, onboarding, and training of new APPs.
Address corrective actions as needed.
Scheduling & Operations:
Create APP schedules & track time off.
Manage sick calls & ensure patient care coverage.
Coordinate NP/PA student placements.
Education & Compliance:
Facilitate APP education on billing & coding.
Attend & contribute to division meetings.

Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

Experience:
Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership experience.
