We are seeking an experienced Office Manager & Controller to oversee the financial operations of the firm while also assisting with paralegal tasks related to estate and trust administration.
Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Accounting:
- Manage the firm’s financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Oversee trust accounting and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Coordinate with external accountants for tax filings and audits.
- Monitor cash flow, profitability, and expense management.
- Ensure compliance with IOLTA (Interest on Lawyers' Trust Accounts) rules.
Office & Operations Management:
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.
- Implement and maintain office policies, procedures, and technology systems.
- Manage vendor relationships, office supplies, and facilities.
- Support attorneys with client billing, case tracking, and document management.
