Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Specialist to serve as a member of our Project Team for the Key Bridge Rebuild Project in the Baltimore area. The project field office is located in Hanover, MD. The individual(s) selected for this role will be a member of the Quality Team for the Key Bridge Rebuild Project, performing a mixture of office and field work in the Baltimore area. Quality Support team member will assist in developing Quality Plans, Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s), Checklists developed from the ITP’s, inspecting completed construction work at witness and hold points, completing checklists documenting the hold points and assembling quality documentation to demonstrate that construction was completed in accordance with the Contract, Construction Drawings and Specifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare/utilize Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s) detailing inspection requirements of construction detailed on Construction Drawings and in Project Specifications
- Perform and document field inspections utilizing checklists developed by the Quality Team
- Compile quality documentation for submittal to the project owner
- Attend Quality Meetings as required
- Analyze and determine trends for Quality Issues
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quality Specialist on construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented with effective organization and coordination skills
- Ability to:
- Learn company specific applications and procedures
- Work independently
- Effectively collaborate with others in a team-based environment
- Strong work ethic that can work effectively as an individual contributor and as part of a team with the ability to build strong relationships
