Responsibilities
- Manage the production control inbox, organize, reassign tasks and requests to the appropriate team.
- Service customer requests for quotes and orders received through multiple channels of communication with a high degree of accuracy.
- Handle order modifications, cancellations, and requests for expedited services in a timely manner and communicate quickly with the appropriate teams
- Manage a large volume of transactional work.
- Co-manage accounts in conjunction with multiple team resources.
- Releasing and printing of shop orders and drawings for production.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts with an emphasis on production control processes.
- Effectively communicate across multiple teams throughout the Machine Shop and customers.
- Assist customers, build and expand customer relationships
Requirements
- 2 year experience in customer service, sales or as a technical representative
- Experience working within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment (e.g., Oracle)
- Proficient in use of Excel and other analytical tools (export data, filter, pivot table, charting)
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multifunctional planning, customer service or sales role, preferability in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading teams through cross functional task
- Proficient experience with Microsoft office suite and Oracle
- Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with production staff, engineers, and management
- Demonstrated ability of using a structured method to problem-solving
- Be well organized with exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to handle unexpected challenges effectively
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years of work experience in business development or project management
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
