Required:


A verifiable 4-year degree is highly preferred.


Must have at least 6 years of strong/current/recent and formal “Product Management” experience as a traditional Product Manager in scope, focused on DATA (data warehousing, data mining, data modeling, database administration and database management, BI, ETL, Cloud/SaaS transformation/migration).


Must have strong skill in data product planning and data product delivery, working as a formal ‘product manager’.


Must have exceptionally strong experience with both waterfall and agile delivery models.


Must have exceptionally strong experience managing projects involving transformation with cloud migration.


Must have strong skill and experience with the SDLC development lifecycle, production systems, testing frameworks, and operations handover.


Must have strong experience with Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Cognos, Looker) and data warehouse fundamentals.


Must have strong experience with complex migrations from legacy data warehousing solutions or on-prem data lakes to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar.


Management certifications (e.g. PMP, CSM, etc.) and cloud certifications are highly preferred.


Must have a strong level of skill and experience in cloud fundamentals.


Duties: You will be responsible for: (1) Working as a formal Product Manager focused on all things data as a critical member of the Chief Data Office within the Enterprise IT department of this stable, successful, and growing organization; (2) Product roadmap and backlog management; (3) Maintaining the product roadmap and product backlog across various business units and concurrent tracks; (4) Gathering inputs from business partners through demand management channels and proactively identifying opportunities for business enhancements and strategy; (5) Ensuring the product roadmap and backlog are visible, clearly ordered, and actively maintained to ensure work aligns with the established product vision and strategy; (6) Continuously assessing available technologies and software to improve operations and meet business goals; (7) Monitoring product satisfaction, identifying opportunities, and implementing changes to drive solution delivery; (8) Minimizing technical debt to ensure the long-term stability of product services; (9) Documenting and maintaining product backlogs, user stories, and implementation plans in alignment with agile principles; (10) Leading cross-functional teams of stakeholders to ensure they support the product's value goals while maximizing the value of the product and resolving conflicts between dependencies; (11) Providing leadership and accountability to the product team to drive forward the value of the product; (12) Balancing technical project management skills with agile principles to manage the data product development lifecycle and governance; (13) Leading or ensuring appropriate change management efforts that adapt to business needs and project requirements; (14) Engaging with teams on approach, style, tools, and standards to effectively implement change management strategies; (15) Owning standards for product release cycle updates, and developing and maintaining the strategy for timelines, planning, testing, dependencies, and communication plans across operational teams; (16) Applying change management principles and methodologies to ensure smooth transitions and implementations; (17) Engaging with product teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to align best practices with business needs, while maintaining an updated optimization plan to achieve maximum value from the product; (18) Utilizing existing governance channels and processes to inform and escalate key issues for sustainment and optimization decisions.

Salary : $125,000 - $150,000
