Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is nestled high atop the majestic San Bernardino Mountains at an elevation of 5,174’. This Resort is surrounded by an ocean of Ponderosa Pines and gives guests exclusive access to Lake Arrowhead, a reservoir with a surface area of 780 acres. Lake Arrowhead is the perfect location for outdoor adventure enthusiasts and offers a variety of summertime and wintertime activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, kayaking, water skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ziplining, and more. The resort includes a Bar & Restaurant, Spa & Wellness Center, Outdoor Pool & Lake Beach as well as over 23,000 sq. ft of meeting and events space.
Overview:
The Busser is responsible for supporting the service team in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant by working to keep the serving stations filled, clearing and cleaning tables, and maintaining a clean restaurant. This is a seasonal position for the summer, from (end of) May through September.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Clear tables as needed. Reset with proper linen, China, silverware, and glassware.
- Complete opening and closing side work.
- Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant.
- Keep work area neat and clean.
- Be familiar with all property amenities and events.
- Help servers by refilling drinks, running food, and delivering additional tableware.
- Keep floors, chairs, and dining areas clean; follow health and safety guidelines.
- Replenish silverware, glassware, napkins, and other service items as needed.
- Ability to effectively greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant area.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant area.
- Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to maintain smooth restaurant operations.
- Provide water, bread, and condiments as needed, and assist guests with basic requests.
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide support in all other areas of the hotel, as requested.
- Any other duties as assigned.
