Lake Auto Group is seeking an experienced Warranty Administrator to manage warranty claims for our Ford and Chevrolet dealerships.
As a Warranty Administrator for Lake Auto Group, you will review and process all warranty claims for two of our dealerships, Lake Ford and Lake Chevrolet. Lake dealerships have been "paperless" for several years, so this position could be performed remotely, after your initial training. Because Lake is a paperless dealership, everything you would need to complete and submit warranty claims for payment is available from your company issued laptop.
When you work in a paperless environment:
As a Warranty Administrator for Lake Auto Group, you will review and process all warranty claims for two of our dealerships, Lake Ford and Lake Chevrolet. When you work in a paperless environment:
- it is impossible to lose any Repair Orders, they are all created digitally and reside in our Tekion cloud software
- you can work from anywhere, as long as you have your company issued laptop and a Wi-Fi connection
- you can set your own hours...as long as we're getting paid on our warranty claims in a quick and efficient manner
You will work closely with our Service Advisors and Service Managers to insure all Pending or Rejected warranty claims are evaluated, reviewed and resubmitted for payment after necessary corrections have been completed. A smooth and efficient warranty process for the dealership, resulting in a successful payment, is your number one priority.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, process and submit necessary warranty documentation for each Manufacturer
- Follow up with manufacturers to ensure claims are being processed properly
- Adjust and resubmit any denied claims to secure payment for warranty work
- Communicate with Service Advisors and Technicians to properly define the scope of a warranty claim
- Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and to verify criteria
- Assist the Parts Managers to verify the return of warranty parts to the manufacturer
- Work with our accounting department to verify payments have been received
- Review warranty repair orders for proper completion and accuracy
- Review all returned and/or rejected warranty claims and prepare the repair orders for immediate resubmission
