What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Busser Crew Member position at Lake Breeze Ski Lodge?
Job Type: Part-Time (March, April, May, September, October - Weekends Only: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, with some opportunity for Monday & Thursday work on select weeks) & Full-Time (June, July, August - 7 Days a Week). There is also some opportunity for working private events in the off-season months.
About Us:
Lake Breeze Ski Lodge is a premier seasonal restaurant known for exceptional dining and service. We are looking for energetic and responsible Bussers to join our team for the upcoming season. This is a great opportunity for teens (preferred ages 16 and 17) looking for their first job in a fun and fast-paced work environment!
Responsibilities:
- Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables efficiently.
- Ensure dining areas remain clean and organized throughout service.
- Provide quick and friendly assistance to guests as needed.
- Refill water glasses and bring bread or other table essentials.
- Help maintain a clean and stocked service station.
- Assist in carrying plates to and from the kitchen.
- Support the overall dining experience by keeping a positive and team-oriented attitude.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a sanitary work environment.
- Set up the restaurant before opening, including arranging tables and stocking supplies.
- Clean up after closing, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping, and taking out trash.
Requirements:
- No prior experience necessary—perfect for a first job!
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be available to work weekends in the spring and fall. Schedules vary during summer months.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
