What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Department Phlebotomist - Full Time position at Lake Charles Memorial Health System?
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION :
- To provide the basic skills necessary for collection of blood samples through the use of skin puncture and venipuncture techniques.
- The employee in this position will be cross-trained to perform other duties in the emergency department, including, but, may not be limited to, EKGs and simple patient transports.
SUPERVISION : Reports directly to Nurse Manager and / or Charge Nurse
