Human Resources Culture Partner (Employee Relations)
Position Summary
- The Culture Partner with guidance from the HR Director, will be responsible for educating our leaders on employee relations best practices to promote positive and productive relationships between leaders and co-workers; implementing effective, fair, and consistent employee relations strategies; leading, directing and at times conducting workplace investigations; coaching leaders at all levels of organization to ensure that adverse employment actions (discipline, suspension, termination, etc.) are made in compliance with company policies, Mission/Values, and local, State and Federal Laws; policy development, communication and training. Focus on root cause of issues and combat with retention strategies.
Supervision: Reports directly to Employee Relations/Talent Acquisition Director
Responsibilities/Duties
- Work with various individuals to review data to determine root cause of issues in order to develop and implement retention strategies
- Be responsible for delivering counseling and support to managers and on Employee Relations matters.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously while prioritizing the most urgent needs on a wide variety of employee matters.
- Work closely with management to review performance management documentation and terminations provides advice to employees about company and governmental rules, regulations and procedures.
- Provides day-to-day advice and counsel to Managers on a wide range of employee relations issues.
- Prepare investigative documentation.
- Assist with the resolution of EEO and wage claims.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to deliver ongoing improvement in the efficiency of human resources practices.
- Work with various individuals to review data to determine root cause of issues in order to develop retention strategies

Education and Work Experience
- Bachelor’s degree – Field of study: Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
- Three to five years (3-5) years of human resources and/or employee relations experience required, preferably at an organization with multiple locations
- Excellent consulting skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.
- Be flexible and available to interact with employees at all levels.
- Be self-directed and motivated.
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- Remaining in a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.

- Work is primarily sedentary in an office setting located off-site. Office hours are Monday through Friday during the day. May be required to work off shifts as needed, on weekends, or on holidays based on projects.
