Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to fill the role of Director of Surgical Services at Lake Chelan Health Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and daily operations of our perioperative services department.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate the provision of excellent, safe, evidence-based, and efficient patient and family-centered care throughout the continuum of care within Surgery and Perioperative Services
- Work effectively and collaboratively with other patient care teams and providers to ensure seamless care transitions
- Ensure safe patient care in the perioperative arena by articulating, educating, and managing evidence-based patient safety practices consistently
- Manage the business of perioperative services effectively and efficiently by demonstrating proficient clinical skills and knowledge based on evidence and best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a peri-operative setting, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in OR as circulating and/or scrub RN
- BSN required or agrees to enroll in an accredited program within one year of hire
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification and ACLS and PALS certifications (or must obtain within 3 months)
- CNOR certification (required or must obtain within 12 months)
