Job Title: Director of Surgical Services
Job Specialty: Management - Director of Surgical Services
Job Duration: Shift: Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm, 40 Hours Per Week. Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse, currently licensed in the State of Washington.
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications (or must obtain within 3 months). CNOR certification required or must obtain within 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate the provision of excellent, safe, evidence-based, and efficient patient and family-centered care throughout the continuum of care within Surgery and Perioperative Services.
- Work effectively and collaboratively with other patient care teams and providers.
- Ensure safe patient care in the perioperative arena by articulating, educating, and managing evidence-based patient safety practices consistently.
- Manage the business of perioperative services effectively and efficiently by demonstrating proficient clinical skills and knowledge based on evidence and best practices.

This position is responsible for leading the surgical services team and ensuring the provision of high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership and management, with experience in a perioperative setting. They will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective patient care, as well as managing the financial aspects of the department.
