We are seeking an experienced Server to join our team! The Server is the face of our restaurant and plays an integral role in our customer’s dining experience. You will build rapport with customers, answer questions about the menu, take orders, and serve food and drinks. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and has fantastic attention to detail.

At all times, servers are expected to be attentive to our Guests’ needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. The server ensures that patrons have an enjoyable dining experience by providing quality customer service. Servers work in the front of the business ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. Safe Serve Certification and knowledge of how to operate a POS system are required.

Responsibilities:
· Prepare room for dining by clothing tables and setting decorations, condiments, candles, napkins, service plates and utensils.

· Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
· Help patrons select food and beverages by presenting menu; offering cocktails; suggesting courses; explaining the chef's specialties;

· Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc.
· Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording patrons' choices; identifying patrons' special dietary needs and special requests.
· Keep kitchen staff informed by noting timing of meal progression.
· Serve orders by picking up and delivering patrons' choices from bar and kitchen; deliver accompaniments and condiments from

· Respond to additional patron requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process.
· Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or

· Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting patrons to return.

· Provide welcoming phone greeting and following Guest ordering procedures.
· Convey menu information over the phone to Guests and give accurate estimate of delivery time.

· Assist with special events as needed.
· Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
· Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary.
· In addition to your primary job function outlined in your job description, every employee is expected but not limited to sweep/clean

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a server is preferred
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays\
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
