Plant Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Provide support for our safety programs through completion of:
  • Safety walkthroughs and inspections
  • Preparation of safety related communication postings
  • Maintenance of safety related documents
• Provide support for our training platform to include:
  • Assigning trainings and ensuring completion
  • Create and build new trainings as needed
  • Maintenance of employee data (adding new hires, archiving users, updating departmental listings, running reports, etc)
• Responsible for completing inventory and ordering of office supplies
• Daily mail handling
• Perform administrative tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Greeting of customers and visitors
  • Daily data entry of production sheets
  • Complete reports and/or maintain tracking information through gathering, compiling and presentation of information utilizing excel or other systems
  • Filing
  • Ad hoc requests as needed
• Process employee cheese sales orders, fulfillment and tracking
• Update employee communication boards
• Assist plant manager with meeting coordination, calendar management, meeting minutes, creation of reports and documents and other tasks as needed
• Actively participate in employee and community event planning committees and date of event activities
• Assist accounting team with support and back up coverage as needed

Education, Qualities and Skills Required:

• Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Approachable, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Flexible and responsive
• Helpful, with a strong service orientation
• Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and instill trust
