- Develop and implement sales strategies for prospecting and acquiring new customers.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan, consistent with the goals and objectives of the LCM plan, to be reviewed and updated frequently with the Director of North America Sales
- Provide a field of perspective in support of the development of a strategic database. Aspects will include maintaining marketing information, performing industry research and evaluating trends in the marketplace LCM/LCPT needs to consider in building out its strategic plan.
- Foster / enhance customer relationships as well as focus on further market penetration (new business)
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and other projections as needed
- Keep senior management informed of economic, competition and other factors affecting the region with recommendations for improvements or changes.
- Participate and assist in national and local trade shows and events.

- Proven track record of success in a sales including: negotiations, technical product knowledge (preferably in automotive aftermarket industry – detailing and car care would be ideal)
- Proven track record working independently as well as in a team oriented environment
- Experience with booking travel and traveling to distributors and events
- Demonstrated strategic planning skills and strong critical thinking aptitude, with an emphasis on sales strategy and development
- Experience coordinating, attending/executing and presenting at trade show events
- Polished presenter with the capability of doing both sales presentations as well as product demonstration and training
- Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented and a positive attitude
- Advance knowledge of the automotive aftermarket industry, specifically in the paint and body area
- Exemplary writing skills are required
- Ability to foster relationships with appropriate distribution partners & existing / new customers
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint)
- Ability to interpret and create sales data to make strategic sales proposals
- Ability to prioritize and work with deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong telephone skills
- Provide technical sales support which may include: collaborating with our Engineering and Product Management team and industry specialists to define and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions
- Travel extensively (5 business days a month) meeting with clients throughout their geographic sales region to maintain their relationships and to present new products
- Work collaboratively with Client Relations Representative for assigned Region to ensure new orders and quotes are processed on a timely manner and serve as a problem solver and technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and issues regarding sales, customers, returns and complaints
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities simultaneously
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills, with a high level of enthusiasm
- Bachelors Degree in Business & Marketing – Preferred
