At Lake Country Power, we are a Touchstone Energy electric distribution cooperative serving 43,000 members in northeastern Minnesota.
We are seeking a skilled Lineworker to join our team at our Mountain Iron service center. As a Lineworker, you will be responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of our electrical distribution infrastructure.
This role works 10 hours a day, four days a week, focusing on the construction and rebuilding of electrical distribution lines.
To qualify, candidates must be graduates of an accredited lineworker program and meet the following requirements:
- Journeyman Lineworker candidates must have completed an approved apprenticeship program and hold a valid journeyman lineworker certification and a valid Class A CDL.
- Apprentice Lineworker candidates must be in the third year (or higher) of their apprenticeship program and must be able to attain a Class A CDL within the first 90 days of employment.
The hourly journeyman rate is $52.22/hr, while the hourly apprentice wage range is $41.25/hr - $47.52/hr depending on apprenticeship level.
