What are the responsibilities and job description for the Creative & Game Operations Manager position at Lake County Captains?
The Creative & Game Operations manager will be responsible for:
Digital Strategy
- Oversee Captains web site updates
- Captainsbaseball.com, ClassicAutoGroupPark.com, ShopCaptains.com
Community Marketing
- Coordinate all fireworks shows, themes, and music for in game and events
- Assist Ticket Sales on booking of National Anthem auditions and book all anthem performers and pre-game performances
Content Creation
- Coordinate and design merch items for promotions and sale online
- Coordinate and oversee design of Official League merchandise, as needed
- Assist in shooting and editing all photos for the online web store, and website(s) ensuring the store is always up to date.
- Assist as needed in creating graphics for in game, social media and Captains newsletter.
- Work with team to take headshots, edit and import into video computer for all Captains and opposing players and music (walk up as well)
Game Day
- Lead all home stand promotions meetings during the season with the goal of creating unique ideas and events and to keep staff fully informed of activities taking place in the ballpark.
- Assist content team including broadcast, social channels, on field activities and create production scripts
- Assist/lead the development of all game day promotions and events.
- Schedule and oversee game day MiLBTV camera operators and game production team. Ensure adequate video clips for social media
- Work with Broadcaster to compose the PA book for announcer on game-by-game basis while diversifying reads and announcements
- Work with ticket staff with on-field performances to import music, graphics and videos for all pre-game performances
- Request game day props as needed
- Fan Experience Enhancement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve the overall fan experience at special events and games. Implement feedback-driven changes to enhance customer satisfaction.
Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and feedback to evaluate the success of promotions and special events, adjusting strategies as needed for continuous improvement.
Additional Duties to be executed by marketing department
- Oversee the hiring of a part-time, seasonal graphic design and merchandise assistant/intern and manage this employee’s time within the guidelines set by the budget that has been established.
