Manager, Food & Beverage is responsible for the following for the Lake County Captains
Individual Duties:
- Identify opportunities to enhance the image of the Company’s concessions operation, including improving service, efficiency, and presentation. This includes updating pricing, improving customer service, re-branding the in-stadium stands, as well as other opportunities that are identified personally or by staff / ownership.
- Work closely with the ticket sales staff to ensure all details are understood concerning all food-related groups and accounts.
- Ensure that ticket sales staff is aware of and understands all food-related policies and procedures.
- Develop and manage processes to control all inventory, including efficient processing of month-end inventory.
- Develop a system to accurately track all product inventory for all-you-can-eat food packages, ensuring that the proper amount of product is used and limiting waste as much as possible.
- Oversee the hiring of all seasonal employees for all in-stadium food & beverage point of sale, ensuring the appropriate number of employees have been hired to meet demand of all events at the facility.
- Create and lead a team of concessions managers who will assist in the oversight of all aspects of the Food & Beverage department.
- Specifically provide the necessary leadership and oversight of direct report supervisors to ensure each represents, and in turn is able to direct subordinates to represent the Company appropriately at all times.
- Direct and discipline employees when needed to ensure proper leadership is defined and executed among all personnel.
- Ensure that all subordinates are presenting themselves in a manner that fits the Company policies concerning appearance.
- Research and implement ways to reduce employee and operations costs.
- Supervise all food & beverage employees, which includes effective management of hours worked, customer service updates, and scheduling.
- Coordinate all specialty group areas (including set-up and food) with the Company sales staff to ensure all details related to group events are executed properly.
- Work with the Company staff to identify and implement new concession ideas, including but not limited to: new food items, new point-of-sale designs, promotions and pricing.
- Identify opportunities to further control costs & expenses for all aspects of the food & beverage operation.
- Coordinate and oversee a pre-event customer service and information meeting with all part-time staff.
- Oversee all Classic Auto Group Park event food service needs, ensuring that each event is properly managed – Individual does not need to be present at all events as long as each is properly managed.
- Work with the Corporate Sales staff to ensure corporate sponsorships do not impact COGS pricing and that all sales fall within the parameters of all Company corporate sponsorships (i.e. pricing, inventory, etc).
- Oversee the hiring and management of a seasonal Food & Beverage intern who will assist in all aspects of the operation, specifically back-office efficiency, reports and data entry.
Other duties:
- Maintain an extraordinary attention to detail and excellent time management skills, which are an absolute requirement to acceptable job performance.
- Represent the Company at business and community functions.
