- Valid Ohio Middle Childhood, Math License or Certificate
- Evidence of a clear record as determined by the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)
- Experience working with children in a school setting
- Ability to maintain a well-managed, positive learning environment
- Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills
- Must be able to provide effective individualized instruction to students in assigned classroom and with possible remote learning online
- Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures and objectives
- Facilitate student progress in the functional curriculum
- Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
- Provide necessary support, communication, direction and feedback to assigned paraprofessional staff
- Maintain regular, positive communication with building staff
- Regular and punctual attendance is required
