Qualifications
- Completion of university preparation program leading to a license authorizing service as a speech pathologist issued by Oregon Teacher Standards and Practices Commission or Oregon >Health Board of Examiners
- Paid professional experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities
- Receive referrals and process them according to ESD and school district practices
provide audiological, speech and language services to identified students according to federal and Oregon laws and regulations including assessment, therapy and evaluation of student progress
- Maintain records and appropriate documentation of student performance and progress toward individual goals
- Conduct pre-screenings and assessments of students at-large according to ESD policy and practice
- Participate actively in Individual Education Plan (IEP) teams and/or Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) teams considering special student needs
- Maintain professional skills including knowledge of emerging ideas and approaches
- Consult with teachers on design, implementation and monitoring of in-class modifications
- Provide training to district staff within the areas of professional expertise
- Assist principal and school staff as requested to achieve school-wide goals
- Respect established schedules with as few changes as possible
