General Description
Schedule: 40 hours a week
- Monday - Friday (9-5pm)
Essential Functions
- Promotes and champions an integrated model of service delivery across disciplines within the mental health and medical clinic.
- Provides clinical and administrative supervision and development of program staff, including completion of evaluations.
- Assures ongoing compliance with agency, grant, mental health, and medical regulations (Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center, Rule 132, Rule 140, Joint Commission, HRSA, DMH, etc)
- Provide management direction of daily operations of the Mental Health and Community Health Center clinic site.
- Monitors staff and client scheduling and adjusts accordingly to ensure the highest level of care per the Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) care model.
- Prepares, develops, monitors, and analyzes clinic budget in accordance with agency guidelines and in conjunction with the Business Manager.
- Tracks all program data including Key Performance Indicators and leads Continuous Quality Improvement projects for the program.
- Promotes and facilitates the professional development of program staff by means of in-service training sessions.
- Provides direction on the scope, types, and evaluation of clinical and administrative programming that is offered utilizing published best practices and empirically proven clinical methodologies in the delivery of client care.
- Demonstrates leadership abilities in conducting administrative and clinical meetings and ensures effective communication among all staff regarding administrative and clinical issues.
- Ensures that staff is trained on quality improvement concepts, tools, and techniques.
- Participates in time-limited and continuous workgroups and committees.
- Maintains accountability standards required by LCHD/CHC and funding sources relative to the quality and quantity of services provided by staff members.
- Conducts, coordinates, and supervises the program and regular review of clinical records.
Knowledge Skills Abilities and Education Required
- Master’s Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field is strongly preferred
- Four (4) years experience in the behavioral health field, which includes two (2) years of supervisory or management experience
- Internal candidates – Two (2) years of management experience in healthcare or a combination of healthcare and other operational management experience. Educational requirements may be offset by performance, skills, and potential demonstrated during your time as an employee.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (L.C.S.W.), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (L.C.P.C.) upon hire required.
