What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychologist - Outpatient Behavioral Health position at Lake County?
- Provides direct services to clients including individual and group treatment.
- Performs initial evaluations and assessments of potential clients regarding their appropriateness for participation in the program.
- Performs fitness restoration services to court-ordered clients already found Unfit to Stand Trial.
- Conducts psychological assessments when appropriate.
- Provide direct restoration counseling services to appropriate adults & write reports to court. Coordinate/consult with treating psychiatrist as appropriate.
- Tuesday & Thursday (8am - 8pm)
- Wednesday & Friday (8am - 5pm)
- Doctorate degree in psychology, with at least one year of experience in chemical dependency/behavioral health treatment required.
- Experience with court referred fitness restoration preferred.
- Must be licensed by Illinois Department of Professional Regulation as a Clinical Psychologist.
