Scheduled Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Performs job duties in a professional manner in order to maximize the level of client care.
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills with staff and public in a variety of settings.
- Interprets Spanish/English with general proficiency to clients and staff.
- Participates in staff meetings, in-service trainings and seminars as assigned.
- Recommends clerical procedures to promote efficient office operations.
- Provides clerical support to the program in general.
- Enters data into various computer programs.
- Files documents, correspondence, and client-related records properly.
- Serves as receptionist on a rotating basis.
- Explains program services to clients and their families in the home and other settings.
- Works with case management staff to identify appointments convenient for client.
- Makes phone calls to offer services, enroll clients and schedule appointments for clients.
- Makes independent home visits to offer services and enroll clients.
- Performs case findings, as directed.
- Elicits and records information about clients following established protocols.
- Displays a positive and respectful attitude, behavior, and demeanor toward management, co-workers and clients in accomplishment of job duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Two years relevant experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
