Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist.
Minimum EducationHigh School diploma or the equivalent required.
Required LicensesPharmacy Technician
Current certificate from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or National Health career Association or current registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern.
Current certificate from Pharmacy Technician Certification Board or National Health career Association or current registration with Kentucky Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern.
Required SkillsRegistration with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within thirty (30) days of employment.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Minimum Work ExperienceOne (1) year related pharmacy experience preferred.
