What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Tech position at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital?
Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist.
Minimum EducationHigh School diploma or the equivalent required.
Required SkillsRegistration with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within thirty (30) days of employment.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Minimum Work ExperienceOne (1) year related pharmacy experience and/or training or graduate of certified training program/healthcare careers college preferred.
