What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Echo Tech Reg-Cardio-PRN-(Vary) position at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital?
Uses ultrasound to visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain measurements of cardiac valves, ventricle and left atrium and visualize blood flow.
Assists the physician with complex ultrasound procedures.
Required LicensesOther
• ARDCS or CCI certification required.
• ARDCS or CCI certification required.
Minimum Work ExperienceOne year of ultrasound experience in echocardiography preferred.
Required Skills• Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of employment.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
