Job Title:  Athletics Game Day Worker                                   Wage/Hour Status: Exempt

Primary Purpose:

Game day workers assist in the setup, operation, and tear down of athletic events during the sports seasons. 

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

• High School diploma or GED preferred 

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Punctuality and attention to detail are critical components of employment
• Duties may involve lifting up to 50 pounds and working in extremely warm or cold elements outdoors.
• Schedule flexibility - Hours may vary depending upon scheduled contest.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Setup of field or court for games. 
• Provide assistance during contest in areas such as concessions, ticket operations, and sport specific activities (e.g., ball shagging, equipment operations). 
• Workers are required to assist with post-game tear down, clean up and securing of equipment. 
• Assistance may also be required for athletic or institutional event specific activities before, during, or immediately following contests.

$20/hour:  Varsity Football Gatekeeper
