Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and clean concrete surfaces for epoxy coating applications, including grinding, shot blasting, or power washing.
- Mix and apply epoxy coatings, polyurethanes, and other related coatings to floors and surfaces in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Repair cracks, chips, and other imperfections on concrete surfaces to ensure smooth application.
- Ensure that all surfaces are properly sealed and treated before and after the coating process.
- Use proper safety procedures, tools, and equipment, ensuring a clean and hazard-free workspace.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and to the highest standards.
- Maintain and care for tools, equipment, and vehicles assigned to the job.
- Communicate with supervisors or clients regarding project progress and address any concerns or challenges.
- Adhere to company and industry standards regarding quality, health, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with epoxy flooring, concrete coatings, or similar surface preparation and coating application (preferred but willing to train the right candidate).
- Ability to work with and mix a variety of coating materials, including epoxies, urethanes, and polyurethanes.
- Knowledge of surface preparation techniques (grinding, sandblasting, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure a high-quality finish on every job.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed, depending on project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to various job sites (local/regional).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 - $30.00 per hour
