Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP-BC) who is passionate about pediatric care and eager to be part of our growing, close-knit team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive healthcare for children while fostering strong relationships with patients and their families. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive pediatric care, including physical exams, diagnosis, treatment plans, and medication prescriptions.
- Collaborate closely with Dr. Phan and Shayla Casanova, FNP-BC and the care team to deliver personalized, holistic care.
- Educate and empower families with the knowledge and resources needed to make informed healthcare decisions.
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Offer guidance and support to patients and families, creating a trusting and empathetic environment.
- Assist in refining clinic protocols to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Foster a team-oriented workplace culture and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest pediatric care trends and best practices through ongoing professional development.
- On rotation for after-hours texting and phone service care.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner in California and Board Certified.
- Previous experience in pediatrics or a pediatric healthcare setting preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Strong clinical skills, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of pediatric conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Leadership skills with a passion for motivating and supporting others.
- Knowledge of current pediatric healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow within a small, passionate pediatric clinic.
- Must possess and maintain a current and unrestricted:
- California Registered Nurse License
- California Nurse Practitioner License
- California Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number
- Drug Enforcement Administration Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
- Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification
- Current BLS Certification that meets the guidelines from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (Can be obtained prior to orientation)
- CPR and BLS certification required.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-time schedule (35-40 hours per week – Monday – Friday, includes half days on Tuesdays and some Saturday half day coverage).
- Salary range: $130,000 - $160,000 DOE.
- Potential to earn above base salary through on-call availability.
- Benefits include: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidays.
