Responsibilities
- Provides instruction at the undergraduate and graduate level, using collaborative, instructional technology, and innovative methods.
- Teaches psychology courses, including general psychology, psychology of personality, abnormal psychology, child psychology, clinical psychology, social psychology, juvenile delinquency psychology research seminar, among others.
- Also teaches within the psychology concentrations.
- Develops syllabi and coursework.
- Advises students.
- Provides assessment of students and supports College assessment needs.
- Establishes and fosters community and institutional relationships to form partnerships that will assist students with networking and job opportunities.
- Assists with the recruitment of prospective students.
- Continues expanding knowledge base with continued professional development.
- Provides general service to the College, including college and faculty committee assignments.
- PhD in psychology.
- Mentor for Psi Chi, The International Honor Society, and the Psychology Club.
- Demonstrates a commitment to excellence in teaching in a liberal arts college environment.
- Growth and “doer” mindset and institutional teamwork ethic.
