The Lake Erie Crushers baseball team in Avon, OH, is seeking enthusiastic Promotions and Fan Engagement Interns to represent our team at the ballpark and in the community this summer. As the “faces” of our organization, these interns should be positive, outgoing, adaptable, and motivated to build a career in the sports industry. This is a seasonal internship position that requires college credit and will last the duration of the 2025 season only.
Position Summary:
The Lake Erie Crushers are looking for an energetic and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Ticket Office Associate. This position will work closely with the Front Office to assist with individual ticket sales, season membership inquiries, and ensuring an efficient and friendly ticketing experience for all Crushers fans. This role provides hands-on training with the team’s Tickets.com ticketing system and involves daily operations of the ticket office at Crushers Stadium.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations of the Crushers ticket office, including nightly reconciliation.
- Sell tickets using the Tickets.com ticketing system while providing excellent customer service.
- Process and fulfill ticket orders, including walk-up, phone, and online purchases.
- Build and maintain relationships with repeat customers and season ticket holders.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and enhance the fan experience through ticket packages and promotions.
- Assist with Will Call ticket processing and distribution.
- Contribute to game day operations, ensuring smooth ticketing and entry processes.
- Participate in weekly marketing and promotional meetings to provide input on ticket sales strategies.
Qualifications & Expectations:
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the Crushers ticketing systems and operations.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season.
- Prior experience in ticket sales, customer service, or sports/event operations is a plus but not required.
