Parts Clerk

Responsibilities

Clerical duties of the parts room. Accept packages from ups/fed-ex. Put parts into system and locate where they belong.

Job Duties

· Input data in company system Manager

· Input Purchase orders into Traverse.

· Proficient with computers, and programs.

· Ability to act fast and chase parts when needed.

· Work well with Vendors to establish strong relationships.

· Occasionally lift materials up to 60 lbs.

· Perform procedures and work assignments in keeping with company policy, safety, and good manufacturing practice standards.

· Communicate effectively with peers and management.

· Train others to follow our company policies and procedures.

· Perform any other duties as assigned by Asset Manager.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or GED.

· Associates Degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred.

· Knowledge of tools and equipment such as wrenches, gauges, saws, presses, etc.

· Basic mathematical skills.

· General understanding of blueprints and machine diagrams.

· Knowledge of computers and ability to use them.

· Basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulic systems.

· Must be able to work in a team environment.

· Basic knowledge of production manufacturing environments.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong safety orientation required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Manufacturing: 1 year (Required)
• Parts Clerk: 1 year (Preferred)
