Facility: Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Lake Eustis
Location: Eustis, FL
Shift: Full Time (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
Pay Rate/Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
Job Description:
Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Lake Eustis is seeking an experienced Director of Social Services to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional care in a long-term healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work the days and hours necessary to complete all assigned responsibilities and tasks.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, vendors, and other necessary individuals to accomplish work and achieve organizational goals.
- Maintain punctuality and meet performance requirements, including attendance and work deadlines.
- Foster professional relationships with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, vendors, and external organizations.
- Handle complaints, requests, and suggestions efficiently, referring as needed and following up as appropriate.
- Provide clear and professional communication, handling work-related challenges with respect and professionalism.
- Adapt to changing work processes and work assignments, ensuring timely and effective performance.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related human services field (Sociology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology). Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of one year supervised social work experience in a healthcare setting. Long-term care experience is preferred.
- Certifications: Current Social Work License in Florida preferred.
