Location : Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Lake Eustis, Eustis, Florida
Position Type : Full-Time, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM
Pay Rate : $35 – $48 per hour
Position Overview :
Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP, you will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing speech language pathology and audiology services in compliance with state and federal laws, physician orders, and the guidelines set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, develop, and execute speech language pathology and audiology services, ensuring alignment with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) guidelines and physician orders.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators for speech language pathology and audiology services to the rehabilitation director, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, billing, and coding for residents receiving services.
- Adhere to health inspection survey readiness, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements, and other relevant regulations.
- Promote safe work practices and accident prevention measures to protect staff and residents.
- Maintain high standards of regulatory compliance and ensure the speech language pathology department meets all applicable practice act(s).
- Supervise staff and promote a harmonious, compliant working environment.
- Maintain and sanitize all speech language pathology and audiology equipment per facility guidelines.
- Participate in safety drills, trainings, and fulfill responsibilities during emergency plan activation.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and staff through tact and professionalism.
- Complete assigned training and skills competency as a condition of employment.
