Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the lead teacher with classroom instruction
- Assisting in the preparation of lesson plans and instructional materials
- Leading small group activities or discussions as needed
- Helping maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment by assisting with behavior management and reinforcing classroom rules and routines
- Supervising students during class, recess, lunch, and other activities
- Assisting with grading assignments, quizzes, and exams and/or providing feedback to students on their work
- Handling administrative tasks such as taking attendance, maintaining records, and organizing classroom materials, preparing and distributing learning materials
- Offering one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help
- Communicating with the lead teacher about student progress and any issues that arise
- Supporting extracurricular activities, field trips, and special projects
- A bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Patience, flexibility, and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment for young children
