The Lake Forest Place Team is seeking a dynamic Public Safety Officer to provide quality public safety, transportation, loss prevention, and security services to residents, employees, and visitors.

- Provide building and premises security through regular vehicular and foot patrols of the campus.
- Respond promptly and courteously to requests for assistance from residents, staff, and/or visitors.
- Regulate and direct vehicle and/or pedestrian traffic as needed.
- Monitor parking areas and issue citations when appropriate.
- Provide transportation services whenever requested.
- Write routine and special reports in the appropriate manner.
- Monitor all emergency systems while stationed at the gatehouse, including the closed-circuit camera system.
- Remain aware of Presbyterian Homes Corporate Compliance policies including those related to confidentiality, security of information, and concern for the wellbeing of residents.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Public Safety Officer, Security, or Loss Prevention Officer in a healthcare or campus setting is desirable.
- Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Frequent walking, climbing stairs, standing, and sitting both indoors and outdoors, and responding to alarms and other duty assignments in all weather conditions.
- Must be available for assignment to any shift, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.
