Medical Director Position Overview

">- The successful candidate will oversee the medical direction of our programs, providing approximately 28 hours of direct care per week.
- This includes conducting medical evaluations and checks in our outpatient settings.
- The Medical Director will serve as a Collaborating Physician and Supervisor for our Advanced Practice Nurses, ensuring high standards of medical practice are met.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Maintain an active caseload.
- Establish and enforce acceptable standards of medical practice.
- Provide supervision and collaboration for Advanced Practice Nurses.
- Manage medical staff and their caseloads.
- Facilitate medical staff meetings and trainings.
- Participate on the Risk Management Team.
- Inform executive leadership of potential issues impacting services, revenue, or liability.
