Lake Forest High School District 115 is seeking a Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach beginning with the 2025-26 school year.06/01/2025
Description: The Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach will organize, coordinate, and promote quality coaching under while carrying out the LFHS Mission and philosophy of the Athletic Department. The Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach will provide effective instruction and program management, demonstrate leadership that will ensure a positive learning environment for student-athletes, and will stress the importance of educational based athletics as a top priority. The Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach will supervise and oversee the boys participating in the boys basketball program at LFHS. The Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach will demonstrate a high degree of ethics, professionalism, and be a positive role model for all student-athletes.
Qualifications: All coaches in an IHSA sports must hold an Illinois Teaching Certificate registered in Lake County, ASEP certificate (American Sport Education Program) or have completed an approved national Federation of High Schools (NFHS) coaching certification program. Coaches must maintain current AED/CPR certification and meet all IHSA coaching certification annual requirements.
Stipend: Per 2023-2028 LFEA CBA
