Job Description Job Description SEASONAL OPPORTUNITY (May 27th - August 12th)Accommodation available if neededAs a Camp Chef, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including overseeing the kitchen staff, ordering food, and ensuring efficient meal service. Your role will involve budgeting, planning, and preparing large quantities of food for campers and staff. You will also be responsible for creating a unique menu that takes special diets and dietary restrictions into consideration. Additionally, you will need to monitor food inventory and prepare dishes that are within budget. As the Camp Chef, you will manage the kitchen and maintain accurate meal records, while also ensuring that all health department food-safety regulations and DPI (production logs, meal counts etc) standards are followed.Company Description Holiday Home Camp provides one-week long sessions that serve over 700 2nd through 8th grade children from underserved communities. We provide traditional summer camp activities such as : swimming, tubing, archery, arts, and crafts, dance, outdoor education, recreational sports, campfires, campouts and many more camp activities that encourage personal growth, positive change and of course, fun!
